Why This Is A Must Attend Event
Nationally males only make up a small proportion of Title X Family planning clients. However, they play vital roles in unintended pregnancy, STI prevention, reproductive health and are an important factor in the future success of family planning. This conference is designed to increase the capacity of family planning agencies and other providers to address service needs of males in family planning and reproductive health care settings. Strategies for building and maintaining an effective family planning program for males will be explored including successful approaches to staff training, policy development & implementation, environmental assessment and program evaluation. Programs will be highlighted that have succeeded in:
- Integrating services for males into existing family planning and reproductive health programs;
- Increasing total clients;
- Determining scope of service;
- Maximizing revenue through billing and coding practices;
- and Addressing community needs for services for males.
If you are a Title X grantee, delegate agency or clinic staff this event is a must attend. It is a great learning opportunity for other reproductive health staff interested in providing enhanced family planning, STI, and reproductive health services for males.
