Improved communication between family planning staff and male clients is crucial to increasing the number of male patients seen in family planning clinics and to improving patients’ experiences there. Presented by the MTC and JSI, the Region VIII Family Planning Training Center, this webinar identified communication strategies to address reproductive health issues that are important to males. Ways to help men identify their own family planning needs and those of their partners were reviewed. Strategies to assist male clients in maximizing their communication and involvement in family planning decision-making with their partners and health care providers were discussed.
